CW mining demonology again for pilot

You know how it is when you’re visiting your parents and one of them suddenly tells you that on the day of your birth they sold your soul to Satan? I tell you, that’s something you never forget, and it’s also the premise of a new series for the CW called Reaper. The pilot will be directed by indie filmmaker Kevin Smith and will begin shooting in Vancouver next month.
Heh. The CW already has a show about a young man dealing with his demon ties, and it’s called “Supernatural.” Better yet, it looks like on both shows, that young man will be named Sam. They should just go the distance and tap Jared Padalecki for the new pilot.
I hope to be recapping “Supernatural” on this site, as it is one of my favorites right now and one of those “best shows you’re not watching” (where by “you” I mean everyone in America), but it doesn’t usually get watched right away due to the marital strife that would cause.

I cannot understand why more folks are not watching Supernatural. It has witty, clever, intriguing scripts … the acting is consistently impressive (especially in season 2) … the two leads are way sexier than Dr McDorky. Where are the viewers??? By the way, my husband has a fondness for the show that goes beyond its considerable appeal … he gets to (shall we say) “reap the benefits” of my fan-girlish obsession every Thursday night!
