That show deserved much wider marketing. It was not just funnier than expected(by me, anyways), but rather well structured, both for plot line, and the manner it was filmed. The network really should have stuck with it longer. Hopefully one of the cable channels will pick it up… it is deserving of wider viewership.

Every time I’ve mentioned this show I have neglected to say that I thought it was funny, when I saw it. I just think in general the Andy Richter Show is never going to happen and I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing.

We thought the show was very funny. I’m annoyed that took it off. It was one of the few things besides two & half men that we liked. Everything else is law & order or crime crap.

I really enjoyed the old guy on there. I had a smile on my face for a week remembering the “Take that, Castro!” line that he said at the gym. This show would have done fine on FX. Why isn’t every show on FX?

Andy: the best thing ever was when you played all the singers in Boys II Men. I still fondly recall that image of you doing the tap your chest kiss the peace fingers thing.

This show was never intended to be anything more than an ad for Turbo Tax. April 15 is the deadline, hence the show is “canceled.”

This is a show that got MUCH better after the first one. We set up the DVR to record it, and we were underwhelmed by the first episode. Since my (non-running) injury has required plenty of couch time for the past few months, I got caught up on the other Andy Barker episodes and quite enjoyed them. And this was in the “yes, it was really funny” kind of way since Greg agreed with me, and not in the “I have really bad taste in entertainment and a very unrefined palate” kind of way that I’ve discovered as my husband shudders while I toss back some candy corn while poring over perezhilton.com.

But, you’re right, Andy would be better off as some sidekick rather than a main character. Tony Hale still rocks. “Hey hermano!”
