I am seriously lacking in the posting dudes and dudettes, and I’m going to try to begin getting my mojo back with…

Fall hits and misses

What shows are making the grade so far? What shows are not? I’ll tell you below in…

Fall hits and misses
Okay that was silly, even for me. Moving on.

Hit: “Dirty Sexy Money”
This is by no means a perfect show but it is probably one of the more interesting fall dramas. Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh make for a great cast on paper, but there are other actors on this show who will surprise you. I am very sure that Natalie Zea will never ever be funnier than she is on this show. She has really caught lightning in a bottle with this role. Samaire Armstrong is usually practically unwatchable but for some reason she really works as a silly fake Paris Hilton type. Glenn Fitzgerald as the foul mouthed man of the cloth is great too, channeling his great turn as Lonnie in Flirting With Disaster. This is not appointment television but it is a fair show that could really settle into something great.
“Dirty Sexy Money” - 10 p.m. Wednesday on ABC

Hit: “Carpoolers”
If I had paid more attention I would have seen that this show was created by Kids in the Haller Bruce McCulloch and given it a recommend no matter what. But I have now seen a few episodes and this is a very very funny show. Fred Goss came out of nowhere to me to turn in a pretty great performance on the (probably deservedly) short lived “Sons and Daughters” and his schtick works great in this mix. I promise you will want to watch this show a second time. Go check out a full episode (start anywhere) on abc.com
“Carpoolers” - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on ABC

Miss: Jerry Seinfeld on television anymore
Turns out Jerry was what screwed with “30 Rock’s” season premiere, as that show is back firing on all cylinders as the funniest comedy out there. And with the Bee promos every 40 seconds on NBC I am up to here with the Seinfeld already. Make it stop.

That’s all for now.

Okay tough guy, it’s time we see what you’re really made of. Go ahead…take one for the team. Cowboy up. Fall on that grenade. You know what I’m talking about. Review CAVEMEN, from the opening title to the closing credits. I double-dog dare ya.
