This is probably one they should have left as a spoiler. David Anders, Sark from TV’s “Alias,” will be joining the cast of “Heroes” for season 2 as the legendary samurai Takezo Kensei, according to Zap2It. That would have been a great reveal. This will settle for me something I’ve been wondering since he first appeared as Sark: Can David Anders actually act, or was he just the beneficiary of a cool and fun part that would have made anybody look good? Because if you’re an actor, “Heroes” doesn’t exactly give you much to work with. The dialogue can be simply atrocious. A white dude as a 17th century Samurai warrior is probably a cool and fun part that would make anybody look good, so this ought to be fun.
Other new “Heroes” cast members include Barry Shabaka Henley as a NYC detective. That could be good too.

This is one spoiler news headline I wasn’t upset that I read too early…
Simone goes out with a bang
A love triangle came to a dramatic conclusion on last night’s Heroes, when Isaac fired his gun at “invisible” Peter and accidentally killed Simone.
To my mind, killing off Simone improves Heroes by about 20%. And with Mohinder rolling with Sark…I mean Sylar, the show has the opportunity to double their scores by getting rid of even more boring filler!

So next week you’ve got “24″ up against “Heroes” Mondays at 9. That’s a tough call: One show has a bunch of people doing fantastical things to save the world, bending time and space and breaking the laws of nature. And the other show is “Heroes.”
But I kid the Bauer. During the 4 hour premiere a terrorist does make the 48 miles from Palmdale to Valencia in 9 minutes, but other than that and a few hundred other impossibilities, it was a superb premiere for what looks like a fantastic sixth season.
